"Does MLM Success Need A Big 'Why' ?"
To achieve MLM success you must have a big 'why'.
Well no - not necessarily true.
Network marketing success is not just about your motivation level. If you've been in network marketing for a reasonable length of time you probably already have a heap of motivation. Certainly this will be the case if you are into your 2nd or 3rd company and have lasted longer than 3 months.
"You just don't have a big enough why."
That statement is a very poor substitute for proper MLM training.
Such things are said by an upline who is bereft of ideas and doesn't know what else to say.
Don't blame her - she is just repeating what she has been taught.
There is no other industry on this earth that suffers so badly from the 'blind leading the blind' syndrome. Duplication can be good. But what is being duplicated has got to be good.
I had a 'big hitter' once as an upline (way upline) who insisted on everyone having a cloned web site which he charged $100 to set up and $25 per month to host. And this was only one of the tools he insisted you have. I believe that he had about 25,000 in his downline.
Do the math. £2.5 million in set up fees and $7.5 million a year in hosting fees.
And search engines absolutely loathe cloned sites and may well reject them completely. A total waste of web space.
This was his idea of MLM training!
I hesitate to use the term 'rip off artist' but I'm struggling to find another term that's more kind.
Look. You are going to need a big why if you want MLM success. But you are going to need an even bigger one to stay doing the things that you're leaders are telling you.
They are giving you the wrong tools.
It's like shifting a ton of bricks with a wheelbarrow when there's a bulldozer available. It's a system that is setting you up to fail. It's certainly not MLM success training.
If you have failed thus far in your MLM business I'll bet it is not because you lack motivation. You've been sent down the wrong route with the wrong instructions.
"You aren't motivated enough".
Why do they say such things?
Answer. Because it's an easy thing to tell someone and because they simply don't know why their downline is failing.
There's another twist to this untruth. You've probably heard it.
"Systems don't fail, people fail."
But the system has got to be good.
You see - here's the thing. You remember those feelings you got from the motivational speeches at your meetings. Well they only lasted about 3 or 4 days, right? Then reality kicked in. So off you went to the next one - maybe even an international rally. But it was just a quick fix as well.
What you need are - results!
Now there's real motivation.
You see - MLM training should concentrate on making sure you get consistent (if small) results. Leading to even bigger results.
So, the question. Is MLM success achievable for you?
Answer. Of course it is! And it doesn't mean that you have to change your company - or even your upline.
