"Multi Level Marketing Is YOUR Business - Don't Delegate It"
When the ad says:
"We'll build your multi level marketing business for you"
or:
"We'll build your multilevel marketing downline for you"
- know that this is definitely an untruth.
Statements like these imply that you are not really required. Strange that you are being offered a business that requires no
input from you (except for a sign up fee).
Think about it for a moment. If 'they' are going to build your business for you why would 'they' need you at all.
Answer. They wouldn't.
If you are not contributing to the business there would be no reason for them to pay you any of the promised large sums of money.
If this is going to be YOUR multi level marketing business then in some form or another 'they' need something from you.
One explanation is that 'they' need your contacts. In other words you are required to find the prospects and you hand them over to be sold by the 'experts'.
As we'll see this is probably not a good idea because you will have no chance to build a relationship with your team. And a multi level marketing business needs that sort of contact.
Another scenario is this.
Everybody that joins after you is put in your downline. This usually means that, to maintain your position, you are required to spend a certain amount each month. This forces sales. And the product would need to be something that you would normally
consume on a monthly basis. Not a good scenario.
Having said that, this tactic of forcing sales is being used by an alarming number of legitimate network marketing schemes. An ugly tactic. By the way, network marketing and multilevel marketing are one and the same.
Here's the thing. What you should be contributing in a legitimate multilevel marketing business is indispensible - the
human touch.
You are paid the big bucks for managing people. A hands off technique is not going to keep your organisation together.
Your distributors will hit tough times and personal coaching and leadership will be invaluable.
Modern MLM systems will use automation. They are an important part of your business. But no amount of automation will replace the need for personal relationships.
So, any promise that you will not have to recruit, sell or have any input is a massive untruth.
